Let's talk about boobs, baby!
It’s often the most overlooked area of your wedding dress planning. What are you going to do with them? How much of them do you want to show? Will the dress you bought support and control them?
At your first fitting, we’ll assess the situation and figure out what best works for your dress and your body. For most people in the size a-d range, we have sew-in cups that are the perfect option. They are a comfy and affordable solution for small to average-sized breasts.
If you’re a DD and up and not wearing a corset-style gown, you may need some extra help to get the lift and look you want in your dress. With dresses trending towards the more see-through and low back, we’ve come up with lots of tricks to help you defy gravity and rock the look of your dream dress flawlessly.
New stick on bras are constantly coming out to catch up with the trend towards sheer and low back dresses. Here are our tips for buying:
· As a rule, order up a cup size to get extra coverage. Stay away from brands that are one size fits all. Cups that don’t cover the entire breast will usually show through the gown and draw attention to a weird line.
· We’re providing Amazon links, but most can be found everywhere from Nordstrom to Target in dozens of different brands. It’s the style and size that matter, not where you get it.
·Don’t be afraid to buy a couple of variations to bring to your fitting. Sometimes we just have to try them and see what works best. Luckily, these are pretty inexpensive and worth experimenting with to get the best results.
·Don’t panic if the bra alone doesn’t provide enough lift. We use most of these in combination with alterations to get the finished look.
